Jean de Courrèges

Jean de Courrèges, Executive Director and Portfolio Manager, has focused on the selection and investment in hedge funds and other non-traditional investment products since 1997. He has worked with several financial institutions, including Credit Suisse Asset Management from 1999 to 2002. Prior to 1997 Mr. de Courrèges served with Banque Indosuez as regional treasurer in Asia and subsequently with CCF in Japan and the United States. Jean graduated in 1978 from ESSEC in Paris with an MBA. Jean also lectures at Toulouse University in France.

Mikael Holmberg

Mikael Holmberg, Chairman of the Board, has a background within management, financing and accounting. Mikael has worked within the Kinnevik group of companies since 1983, including Controller and later Managing Director of Invik & Co. AB, CFO of Investment AB Kinnevik, and Deputy Managing Director of Banque Invik S.A. As head of the European part of the single family office of Cristina and Max Stenbeck, Mikael is presently Managing Director of Anima Regni Partners Sarl, as well as a member of the Board of Managers of Verdere Sarl, based in Luxembourg. Mikael has studied economics with focus on strategic planning and control at the University of Lund, Sweden.

Russell Nel

Russell Nel, Director, has a quantitative background and experience from both sales and structuring across a broad range of asset classes. Russell previously worked with derivatives and structured products at First Rand in South Africa and Merrill Lynch in London. Prior to co-founding Ress Capital in 2003, Russell worked at Deutsche Bank in London. Russell has been involved in many areas within life settlements since 2006, including portfolio structuring, policy pricing and sourcing. Russell has a B.Sc in Engineering from Lehigh University and a M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Iowa in the US.
